Song Be Golf Resort was Vietnam’s first international championship golf course and is widely regarded as one of the most challenging layouts in the country. The golf resort was built in 1994 out of the natural landscape of fruit orchards and coconut palms. In 1995 the Song Be golf course was officially rated in accordance with the USGA/SGA requirements.
The 18 hole resort style layout features 10 lakes. As Song Be translates as "little river", a tributary of the Mekong, it is unsurprising that water comes into play in eight of the 18 holes. with a challenging tee-shot between two lakes at the tenth. Mature tree lined fairways with undulating greens add to the overall golf course difficulty.
Playing off from the blue tees is a challenge as the total length measures over 7000 yards. Song Be is a walking course and all the caddies are female. Golf carts are available for one of two golfers. A fully equipped and modern club house provides golfers with excellent ocean and sand dune views to enjoy the golf course and facilities after their round.
Lotus Course - The hidden Charm. The beautiful lotus lakes provide a relaxing backdrop for this stunning, yet challenging course. The varying slopes, well placed bunkers and scenic lakes make a round of golf on this course, not only a peaceful and unforgettable experience, but also one that will challenge any golfer.
Plam Course : The beauty of nature. Palm trees, menacing bushes and narrow fairways are the main hurdles to overcome on this course. Indulge yourself in this lush, tropical landscape, while trying your luck on 9 of the most attractive holes you will ever encounter, and you will soon be transported from your busy everyday life.
Desert course: Our newest and most demanding course is one that will provide a challenge for even the professional. Beautifully landscaped with longer fairways, an array of complex bunkers and an abundance of sand, make this a highly stimulating course which is required a high degree of accuracy and forward-thinking from the golfer. This course is a new addition to our already well renowned resort, and one that we are extremely proud of.
